Charcoal gray suit with blue/purple/khaki shirt?
I have a 3-button charcoal gray Brooks Brothers (yeah, I know but it really looks good and modern), I was planning on wearing a dark blue/dark purple/khaki Zegna casual dress shirt with no tie for a modern look but was wondering if I could get a second opinion? This is for the Theater.
Its all one color, its like a half stripe, half blended together mix of the blue and purple with little specks of the khaki mixed in kind of low lighted. The suit is a solid gray.
Like is said, the 3 colors are one shirt. In the wrong light, it looks black and charcoal but in the right light you see that it’s dark blue and purple and if you get very close you can make out lowlights of a white, almost cream color. I usually ware it with a pair of black silk Tommy Bahama pants that really set off the colors but I can’t tell if it would go with the dark charcoal gray suit.

yeah i’d go for a plain self colour shirt…. you don’t want the look to be too busy!!!
most of all have fun at the theatre!! people are going to see the show! not your shirt!!
